It was one of those days that my legs just said “no.” In decent shape but I just couldn’t get it going today. I had the misfortune of getting on one of the wrong spurs behind Albert Pike Recreational Area. I had started about one mile North of the Rec Area at the bridge.  I was 1.5 miles in when I got lost. I decided to walk back down to Rec Area and restart the watch and use this as my start/end point.  I found the Southern portion of the loop a little bit hard to follow and I got a few hundred bonus yards there at one point. Other than that, my data follow the white blazes. Beautiful trail. Perfect weather.  I was no where near goal.  Not close to the FKT. The downhills are brutal. The climbs are steep but not long.  Creek crossings too numerous to count. The water level online the night before was 4 ft. I got my shorts wet once. Do not go when the water level is high. Would be dangerous for sure. Saw many hikers and got chased by a few of their dogs.
