Lots of street parties, most socially distanced, some not. Bunting, flags, and scarecrows everywhere. People out and happy to see each other after weeks locked away. Lovely atmosphere for the whole ride as a result. Wish I'd got some photos of the parties but it never felt right to take any. There was an untouched sponge cake on an empty table in Aston Upthorpe - was very tempted to nab a slice! Accidentally did a pretty big gravel climb in some woods once in the Chilterns. Hatch Lane: Oxfordshire's Colle delle Finestre! 🤣
