Mag 7 from Navajo Rocks. Seriously underestimated this ride and the heat. Left at 1pm with a liter and a half of water. First half went smoothly but the heat really kicked in climbing up to Gold Bar Rim. My watch reported a high of 104 degrees. Picking through the tech on the rim was made considerably less fun by near empty water-bottles. The gut churning exposure of Portal was made up for by the shade the cliff-side offered. My mojo and balance were gone at that point so walked a good portion of it. Some good lessons from an adventurous first ride in Moab.
