I encountered a young Amish boy on a huge horse. I spooked the horse. It reared up and jumped a couple of times and sprinted away from me. The kid masterful reined it back in a few seconds. We each dismounted - I handed the boy his hat. He said “horse is scared of bicycles. Don’t worry about about it. He’s got to learn.”  Could have been a disaster.
