Set off with Mike, ergo too quick for me - but banked some useful minutes. All fine until The Descents. Was repeatedly (well, four times) asked if I was OK by runners overtaking me - and I'd not even fallen / wasn't bleeding! Other than bleedin' slow...







...(loose) target was 8:30. Pulled myself together and went sub-8:15. Main target was to enjoy the third leg of The Triple Crown. And enjoy it I did.







(greater dissections will no doubt follow in a blog post! Oh, and... well done Twirly!)



p.s.: OT dubious as it has Ian Beattie four seconds behind me. Trust me, it was more. Not many, but not four. :-)
