Thanks Eli for the route, beta, and inspiration to get out and do a grand tour of this mountain! And what a mountain it is! Turns out it's pretty big! Perfect weather and conditions. I couldn't let them slide by without getting after something big!

Rules for the route are basically to ascend or descend all of the bottom-to-top routes on the mountain. I followed Eli's route. Made a few navigational blunders, but pretty minor. Took an intentional detour to see the Steam Donkey.

Unsupported style: carried all food and filtered all water (except the 0.8 L I started with). Ran out of water and stream was dry in the final ascent up Brownsville, which caused me to get close to bonking. I backed off pace because I can't absorb calories without water, so I also stopped eating. Found a little trickle near the top of Bicentennial and chugged a half liter, but skipped food, and just headed down to get it done.

Moderate or mod-easy pace most of the time. Legs were not fresh, so I didn't want to do too much more harm than the rigors of the route dictate. Nutrition was so-so. If I went harder, I definitely would have bonked majorly. No gu, some Cliff shots and Tailwind, bars, crackers, and a sandwich. Got very little sleep as I decided to do this last minute and was preparing until 11pm, then kiddo decided 3am was a good time to wake up for the day. 

I think this could go about an hour faster by someone fast and motivated with good conditions like this. It's a good way to check out pretty much the whole mountain too!
