Went for the FKT this morning for the wallkill valley rail trail from Gardiner to Kingston.  Previous record was 2:42:38 so I got it by a good margin. Would have been a bit faster, but a bridge was out and I had to hoof around it. Got fatigued around 19, but mostly felt good and really enjoyed this one on a beautiful cool morning. Gels at 4, 10, 15, 18.5 and 16oz of nuun throughout. This was actually my first time ever wearing a pack. Didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. Ended up with 74 miles on the week.
