Afternoon Ride

The trainer may have been the better call

Back to the old stomping grounds for this one.  Brian Taggart and I were scheming on a fun gravel ride/challenge.  The actual ride ends up just shy of 50 miles.  I had a 25min warm up from my parents house and an extra few miles back from Glenmont and went up 25 a second time plus 10mins easy cool down.  But start in Glenmont and hit all the roads that connect up to County Road 6 (French Ridge).  You will go down and up each road.  Then take county road 6 back to cr 25 down to Glenmont.  It's just a fun and challenging route.  Good climbs and pretty fast descends.  Completed the actual route in just under 3 hours on the full sus mtb with the heavy wheels a little over 30lbs set up lol  a gravel bike is definitely the weapon of choice.
