Took it easy for the first 2/3 since I was tired from Tokeneke, then practiced an explosive attack rather than my usual steady grind. Then I rode in control and recovered a bit to the finish. I decided to also practice descending and when I caught Andrew we just ripped together all the way back to Northampton. It was fun and intense. He also recommended taking an antacid to help relieve my problem with cramping in races. I will definitely give it a try. I will have to look to see if there is any difference in efficacy with calcium vs magnesium-based antacids.
