Out leg was ok, forgot about filter lanes changes at Princes St crossroads, cycle lane on Inner Avenue wasn't clear to me how to join it so I used bus lane until Bannister Rd crossroads. Vague as I reached Burgess X roads, bit narrow but ok to pass frequent cycle lane signs until Chilworth roundabout, three cyclists heading towards me but they shifted on to old shared path.

Home leg not so good, those frequent lane signs were seriously narrow down Bassett Avenue, concerned about cars in side roads pulling out and possibility of cars I was alongside cutting across me (especially Highfield turn off). Really vague after Northlands, suddenly ended up on pavement just before Inner Avenue. Work in progress either side of Jury's Inn, then ok up the hill, besides one almighty bang where I guess I caught a pothole.

It has potential, but I wouldn't start riding it regularly for exercise, I think this "out and back" might be a one off.

Way too much stop/start even though I thought I had decent luck on the lights for the whole ride, to even vaguely threaten my best 20mins of the last six weeks!🤣
