Afternoon Run

Bike: overall eh about this ride. Legs felt pretty rough right off the bat but slowly improved as the ride went on. I only brought one bottle with a nuun in it because I forgot to grab any sort of gel or energy block before I came up here. I definitely need to start getting back into core work and yoga as I struggled to stay on the aero bars for the entirety and started to tighten up in the hip. Also wasn’t as steady as I wanted to be. I had to slow down and stop a couple of times at intersections and through a couple towns but somewhat happy with the speed. Would like to be somewhere between 21-22 whenever actual races start. Hit about a half mile stretch of gravel towards the end which was annoying as well but no excuses and need to get a lot better on the bike. I think my official 40k time was aroun 1:11 and change👍
