Happy thanksgiving to my fellow American friends

Didn’t really like that. Too. Much. Rocks. 
Also went to an unknown peak because it was so close. Lot of scree, boulders, rotten rocks, bushwhacks... The usual Bulger package.

Brought my crampons, ice axe, food, 2 lliters of water, 10 essentials, clothes.
Tried to run up the trail at the beginning before realizing it was just too hard. The backpack or my fitness was getting in the way. So just power hiked the trail, and run the flat sections. After a few miles on the trail, I took climber’s right and went in open country towards Big Craggy. It’s a burnt zone with lot of down trees so it’s pretty slow going. Thankfully it’s short. And soon enough I was in much better terrain. Scree. No snow in sight, no obvious path. Just went straight up in the scree, questioning my life choices when I realized how annoying it was. I had the good idea to aim for the ridge, hoping this would be better. Indeed it was, instead of the shitty scree, I was now in a small boulder field. Rocks were bigger, I was moving faster but everything was really lose. The rocks were getting bigger and bigger. I hurt myself a few times going up, with rocks rolling on my ankles. I was relieved to hit the summit. I didn’t find any register. I saw another sub summit, thinking that it might be the true summit with the register. Nope, no registers there either. 
I started going down towards West Craggy following the ridge. This time I found an obvious path and soon enough I was at the pass between West and Big. I started climbing up the ridge to West but lost the path. Ended up traversing too high and got cliffed out. Reverse back a few meters, dropped down and continued the ascent following a more obvious path. It was a fun scramble to the summit. I was having fun moving fast in the class 3 despite my heart telling me otherwise. I reached the top less than an hour after leaving Big Craggy. Didn’t find any register there either... I started going following the same way I came up. I pulled up my track, but realized I was not following the track I had for the way down. I tried to correct and followed a gully down that was a bit sketchy but doable. It took me some time to find the best way to downclimb the slabs at the bottom. After the scree it was more scree. And also some snow that I was happy to use and ski down. There was a small lake at the bottom of this small valley. And then more rocks. And more burnt down trees everywhere. And more bushwack. And finally the trail, that I jogged until the parking lot.
