Afternoon Walk

I'd planned to ride this route leisurely leaving at dawn, returning in time to see grandbaby Maeve. Last night I leaned my bike with Di2 shifter against a wall so the battery was dead. Instead of just grabbing another bike (the smart move), I decided I'd charge it 90 min so that I could try out my new gizmo for holding an xtra 2 bottles behind seat, and just ride faster. Much nicer weather than the heat we've had lately, I was having fun trying to keep my average above 20mph - which I did until the last 5 miles when the paths/signs/turns/funeral procession/rain started.
