Started out after the first storm this morning. First time in over a week I have wanted to be on and felt strong on the bike. It was also the first time in a month that felt like I could crank out some good segment efforts. Hit 202 HR on RT 9 hill #1 (after that I could get my hr to stay down). At the farthest point on my ride (Keeseville) as I was coming off Mace Chasm and onto Thompson, I could see the rain roll over the mountains. Tried to outrun it, with no success. Coming down Keeseville hill I wish I had disc brake and it was probably the scariest moment on a bike so far. Made it back towards Peru and Bluff Point and it cleared up and I baked in the oven the rest of the ride.
