So many goddam roads were oiled today. Navigating around them proved challenging. It did lead me down some new roads which was fun, but as a whole was rather irritating. I’d also like to welcome back... THE WIND! The wind made itself known today, after hiding away for a few weeks. In fact, it changed direction from SE to SW half way through my ride, so I was heading into it westbound and eastbound! The plan for the day was to run in Highland and snag a few segments, but with an impending storm on the horizon, I figured I’d hop on the ol’ bike and make certain I get something in today. If the weather holds out, I’ll lace up the HOKAs around 10:30.
