Set out for the women’s FKT on this course. Water is off, so mom met me at skyline gate with water and Sam paced me the last 3.5 miles, which was a huge boost and he really pushed me those last miles! I used a watch in addition to my phone because my phone gps often inflates miles. Finished 5:12:44, 32.38 miles, which would beat the previous FKT. However, made a wrong turn after the French Trail, which actually added some mileage and gain but then I think took me out of the running for the overall segment (on Strava at least) 😩 I rejoined the route pretty quickly though. 
So it goes.
