Amazing morning. Alex Gold and I went for the Lakefront path FKT and were feeling great thru 20-25. Unfortunately Alex came down with cramps that led to some more serious stomach issues that forced him to drop at 30 miles. I continued on and finished in a new record for the out n back. Legs held up okay for the last 6 to get me to the finish. A new marathon PR en route to add some icing to the cake. Gold will be back at my side in the future- unforgettable day!
