Not the legs I wanted today. Aimed big but today wasn't my day. Ended up averaging around threshold instead of my target 20min power. Didn't help that I dropped my chain about 12 minutes into the effort. Got off and put it back on quickly but my chance at the KOM was over. Thought about quitting the effort but that's not how I roll. Kept pushing and in the end I only missed it by 25 seconds. Disappointed for sure but I'll take confidence from the fact that I was still so close to KOM time even on a bad day and with bad luck.
