did all of the blue blazed NPS trails starting and finishing at the Isle au Haut village NPS ranger station. what a beautiful island. highlights were swimming in Long Pond, picking raspberries and the sweet sweet loam that kept my knees happy all day. crux was going over Duck Harbor Mtn in the noonday sun. I love long trail running days. approached via kayak (0.6 mi each way) from the MITA site on Kimball.
