Last neighborhood run day

Only a crazy person with zero trust in the North Cascades forecast and a short term memory would do this twice in a row. But it's been on the bucket list as an FKT attempt with Alex all summer and after an awesome time out there this weekend with Ely and Gavin, I decided to rally and see how fast we could do it before conditions deteriorated. 

No female FKT times listed on the website, and didn’t find times elsewhere (anyone know of any?) so happy to put a time up. Definitely a few hours to be easily shaved off this. Would love to see some crushers go take it. I also want to come back next year, maybe a bit earlier with more snow/less scree and maybe less vegetable belaying when the shrubbery isn't at it's peak. 

We had an awesome day out there, fun to catch up and get after a fun objective again with Alex. 

Will update later with gear. Want to note that this is a remote, rugged, technical route that comes with risks and those should not be underestimated. Glacier travel, steep snow, scrambling, insanely steep scree slopes, and off-trail navigation are essentials. Quick note that crampons were essential in our weather conditions, despite thinking we could get away with microspikes after being on the route just a few days ago. Very icy with the late afternoon sun and overnight freeze, and we ended up using crampons nearly the entire time on the snow. Good call, would have turned around otherwise. 

Mike and Steve's time on this route is STOUT!
