Felt pretty good. Carried 1.5 liters of water and it was the perfect amount. Sad I forgot to start my watch, I was rolling down wildcat trail. 

Did the first 1/3rd of the East Bay skyline trail segment (to Volmer) in 7:45 pace feeing very controlled. On a colder day with a taper, I’m feeling pretty confident about holding that pace, especially since this portion of the segment was mostly uphill. 

Total elapsed time was 2:47:11, which works out to ~7:40 avg pace over 21.5 miles and at least 3200ft of climbing. Real solid day out on the trails 😎
