That was the hardest race I’ve ever done.  Felt really good for the first 70k, then my stomach cramped up and everything turned to suck.  Got caught out by the sudden summer heat.  Should have taken the salt tabs at the halfway!

Also, had a close encounter with a brown snake...that could have really ruined my day!  Nothing like barreling around a corner and one of the worlds most deadly snakes stretched out full width on the trail...
