Morning Run

11:23 FKT - that took something out of me I may never get back 😬. Almost bailed at the trailhead after I realized I packed two right gloves. Glad I didn’t, weather and trails were completely flawless! 

Rode relatively smart all day with no wrecks but snapped my GPS mount with my knee on a dismount and then had a minor navigational mishap at the bottom of Strickler when I missed the connector trail. I thought the day was over when I had a sidewall tear on Short that I foolishly tried to plug using up my CO2, but was able to boot it with a bandaid and got a tube to hold. Hands took a pretty bad beating, but otherwise had a great day chasing JB’s ghost!
