Lost 8 pounds despite downing 15 large bottles of water. Very fast start with first 72 miles dead flat and some motor pacing. Then 90 deg by 11 am and some very hot climbing and riding all the way to the end. Could not drink enough to stay hydrated. Last 38 miles just keeping going. Best part? Ice-cold foot bath and frozen smoothies at the 160-mile mark!
