Day 5 of 6 of the C1 mountaineering course in the Ötztaler Alps in Austria with the Dutch mountaineering club (NKBV).
Today we started from the foot of the Rettenbach glacier and climbed to the Pitztaler Jöchl. Then we climbed the ridge to the Karleskogel (3107 m) and to the Rettenbach Jöchl. Finally we descended back down over the Rettenbach glacier.
