So much fun! Bought a gravel (cx bike) bike on Saturday and raced it today! Went out wayyyyyyy too hard. 20k in I was riding down a bit of MTB single track with big sharp rocks and blew my tyre out - only had one spare tube so put that in and rode back on the road. DNF but will be back for sure - gravel is the one! Event was a mix between MTB bikes and and gravel bikes, with some bits of the course suiting one bike type over the other. Only running 33c so will be back with much bigger tyres! If I wouldn’t have punctured I would have bonked anyway
