Still in the Allez due to the Tarmac being ill. Due to the lunch run being cut short felt like I needed to go out again, mainly because after coming in at lunch time I ate all the food due to convincing myself I would go out again later, but after eating all the food lost all inclination to go out again. It's a tough balancing act.

Had a couple of dead end climbs I wanted to explore, they probably are a bit easier in daylight where you're not guessing the gradient and your gears quite as much. Felt as if I was really slogging my way up them but only after I turned round and was getting blown down at speed did I realise just how strong the wind actually was.

My initial plan for today was an early jump up to Blairgowrie and then 150 mile loop taking in both the Cairnwell and The Lecht. This morning I couldn't face the two hour drive at half 6 and went back to bed but honestly it was such a smart decision as there's no way I had that in my legs. The short climbs on that spin were enough.
