This afternoon, Timmer and I took on the Grey Cloud loop clockwise first, both making solo efforts...I geared the aero fixi up 2 inches, riding a 55/13 instead of the usual 58/14...seemed to work cause on a not so favorably southwest windy day was able to ride 10:59 (10 seconds faster than my previous KOM) for the 5.4 miles...so 29.5mph average on a course with some tough hills and often unfriendly wind (per usual the clockwise segment, Grey Cloud 1 Lap. fails to show below and has to be searched separately)...rested 15 minutes and then gave the counter clockwise loop a go...not able to give as much to the second effort but still managed 11:25 for the 5.44 miles, just 5 seconds shy of my KOM for that direction...counter clockwise direction is a bit slower due to stop sign that needs to be negotiated at the far end of the loop...Timmer got some shots of the second effort that I've posted...looking forward to putting on the new Tririg aero bars this winter and hoping to figure out a way to better hide my head
