Spent Indigenous People’s’ Day riding up and down the Hoosac Range along the Mohawk Trail. PR on 116 out of Adams, then up Kingsley Hill Road (which Bicycling Magazine once ranked the steepest paved half mile in the country, and if there’s something worse I don’t want to see it, and Whitcomb Hill Road, which also was no joke. I’d hoped to do one more run up the Mohawk Trail from downtown North Adams (I’ve never actually gone up this side) but impending dust (and, probably, impending legs going on strike) got the better of me. Cold, but pretty, day out there.
