"Click-click-click!" A fresh tungsten carbide tip on Roadkill's trekking pole goes tappery-tap on the sidewalk; the original rubber tip lasted 100+ miles. (He uses the pole marked "R" on odd-numbered days and the one marked "L" on even days, to equalize wear. Or is he just OCD?) A steep new path leads through the woods. Skeletons soak up the late afternoon sun. ~3.0 mi @ ~20 min/mi -
