Lake Run with Clare

Hot, Humid, Ready for the Pool

Met up with Saturday Run Crew...which was just Aaron, Clare and I this morning. The others missed out - there were trails decked out in Halloween themes! We had tombstones, witches, pumpkin people, dinosaurs, aliens, and kayaking skeletons! Ran with Aaron and Clare for 3 of my “on” portions which was nice to run with people. Definitely lost focus on cadence, and it slipped, but stayed above 165 for all of my “ons” so I’ll take it. The hills added a little challenge too. 

The distance of the run was not planned, it just worked out that way after we ended. Normally would add on .01, but it fits pretty perfectly for a Halloween themed run. Gonna tell my coach friends that someone needs to set up a cross country course with Halloween decor 👻!
