Bulls Bridge to Macedonia in the rain

#elevationmap   Southern half of blue - blazed Iron Trail was not too muddy this time.  The trip up Stone Man Mountain is a great addition to this out & back run!  The Southern-most half mile of the blue-blazed trail is now a wide gravel road (blue blazes are missing in this section for the southbound direction).  Another quarter mile on paved Canaan Mountain Rd brings you to the orange - blazed Iron Trail.  
Descending the steep former charcoal road near the Northern end of the blue-blazed trail was treacherous as many rocks were hiding under the fallen leaves.
I had to DQ myself from my own "race". It turns out I had another third of a mile to go to get to the real summit of Stone Man Mountain.
