Air quality was quite bad today. How bad? I will let #AQIMap do the talking. I briefly considered postponing the ride but knew that it's hard for Rich to schedule a day off, and I really wanted to ride with him. We could feel it in our throats. It felt better on Mines Rd. Maybe placebo effect from not being able to see distant mountains?

Also, it was surprisingly warm for this time of year (but our President says it will cool down soon, so we got that going for us!).

I was considering Welch Creek bonus but Rich talked sense into me. Then we found out that it's closed anyway.
