That was about the most difficult thing I’ve done this year. Although I was 3 lbs lighter than my last go at 165lbs this morning, the wind wasn’t as good and I found myself 10 watts higher to the first corner for the same time I had before with the worse pavement. But I was in it, and I brought all the watts today, floating through the pain cave in the last 5 minutes and was able to grab the segment by 9 seconds. Those are the times you somewhat question your sanity, but by the time your hr comes back down into endurance, your already thinking about the next one ✌️
