I ran with the goal of logging a PB on the FKT, Alpine Lakes Loop and then to see where that effort stacks up with other times. 🥉 Overall

I took a wrong turn at the hairpin turn at Melawaka Lake and probably lost about 2 minutes—which, of course, would have been the margin needed to grab the overall quickest time. Haha, classic 😊😅 

The trail conditions were much less brushy than the summer and the ground had mild snow and ice patches throughout.
