Somewhere between 51:50 and 52:05. GPS and trail markers didn’t match up.

Ouch. Mixed feeling about this. Miles 1-4 were smooth, felt good. Turned into a real grind after that. Ran into a headwind 10 out of the 10 miles. Felt super good aerobically. Legs felt okay, not great. A mixture of those things just started to wear me down. Proud of how I took a shot at sub-50. I know I’m fit enough, today just wasn’t the day. 

My legs look sunburned, but it’s really just wind burn. They hurt in more ways than one.
