PAVING ALERT - they were just finishing paving that last horrible section of Ocean ave this afternoon. Had a great ride. Happened upon, and rode with, both Pattie Mags and then later Charleen Merced. One of my slower rides, maybe I should have done more pedaling and a little less talking. Definitely should have encouraged Pattie Mags to set the pace more. But, with a Summer of almost entirely solo rides, it was great to socialize. Terrible gusting headwinds.
