Racing the sunset! First time to Joshua Tree. Spent the morning hiking around with a little scrambling (and ripped my shirt in the Hall of Horrors 😔). Had enough time to fit in this run at the end of the day.  Cruised the first couple miles, until I realized that the last 5 northbound are a sand nightmare. Last couple miles were a push to sneak under 2 hours. Also learned that you can’t take aggressive corners in the desert because every damn plant that you might brush against has razors on it
