Loop KOM shot. Not a breath of wind, largely dry apart from a very wet descent from Lavers Hill. Worked with Greg like a well-oiled machine swapping turns for 80km until l cramped on the final climb up from Horden Vale and gave Greg his formal leave pass which was pleasingly, later in the ride than I'd anticipated. Limped the last 20km home solo in cramp management mode. We lost a few minutes with Greg's Jai Hindley Stelvio rain jacket impersonation (twice), and l was a bit of a dragging anchor up Skenes Ck but Greg still managed 3rd ALL TIME 🥳 in a high 3.15. All in all, so exhilarating!
