429 W avg for 4:13 and more impressively 413 Watts for 6 minutes!!! Not wanting to brag but I'm just shocked that best 6 minute power of my life after 142 days since consistent riding and a 1 hr ride last week that I could post these kind of numbers.  What the heck?  Consistent running I guess really does help. My cycling muscles are not really there but I suppose some VO2 max is still somewhat there. Contributing factors are: 14% gradient hills here, no 6 minute climbs really in kyalami, and rarely do you go all out for 6 minutes in a race. Intervals in SA I always stopped at 5 minutes. 

I also managed to find out where I could do a somewhat constant power output in the area.  Though at 52 minute ride 211 avg, 287 NP and a 7/10 sort of effort level I'm confident I should be able to pull a 270 FTP for 1 hr. However, I really think the test should be done just to get a baseline and to do an experiment. after 2 rides in an 8 day period it will not longer be an 'off the couch' ftp but whatever. It will be interesting to see how it goes- I know it will be super hard on my non-cycling legs. 

287 Watts NP at 72.5 KG or so at my AM weigh in. probably like 73.5 Kg's on this evening ride.
