Lunch Walk

I had three goals for this ride:
1. Run every red light I came to
2. Try to go as fast as possible the entire ride
3. Beat the sunset home because I didn't bring a headlight and my taillight died halfway through the ride

Bonus goal: Try to run over someone's dog and/or scare an old person. Mission accomplished. ... Some looney tune old man was walking his Husky like he owned the world. He had his dog on one of those extension leashes and he let the dog take it all the way across the bike path but didn't follow him, so he effectively created a trip line across the entire 12-foot path as he stood on one side in the grass and his dog was on the other side in the grass. I started yelling at him that I was coming from at least 30 yards and the old guy started cussing and trying to reel his dog in like a fighting maceral. In the end, I had to ride about 5 feet into the grass on the left to get around the guy and his dog who's extended presence started 5 feet off the trail on the right. In a word, redunculous.

So, I made it home just as the sun was kissing the horizon, like a total boss. I own you Sun!
