This should have felt easy

Had the day off of work, so I figured today was the day to do something dumb. I definitely did not train for this. The longest runs I’ve been doing were 10 mile runs. But ya know, why not! 

It felt incredibly easy through mile 22. I was chillin at 7:30s feelin goooood. Then my legs started progressively getting more and more sore. My stomach felt fine, felt hydrated and nourished enough, but man my legs hurt so bad. I walked a majority of the last 10 miles. I jig jogged so slow that Dave Warth would be proud of me. 

I was happy that a few miles of this was on gravel/dirt, it felt so good on my legs. I am also happy I started on Dumbarton Bridge. I’m happy Jay biked along side me for moral support. And, I only cried once!
