I've been doing too much pure road biking down here.  I was jonesing for some dirt.  I wasn't sure how much gnar I was going to get into on the North Side Mountain Trail.  Very well maintained trail.  But still pretty rooty and rocky for 25 clinchers.  Suffered a sidewall tear on my GP 5000's and blowout in the tube.  Patched and booted and rollin' again.  Dad never understood my passion for cycling.  But as a racer of a different sort, I bet he would appreciate that I got the KOM next to his house.
