Fastest Known Time started right as the sun was peaking. I've hiked and ran this trail before and new the time to beat was manageable. 
The tricky part is figuring out exactly where the turn around point is up top! 
I rightfully noted the mileage from the time and route of the athlete that had the fastest current time and kept an eye on that on the way up. 
The climbs were fun but the challenge was on the way down and trying to keep the pace with the sharp turns and hikers along the way. 
Hope this lasts at least until I manage my other fkt out here!
