Morning Hike

I sat on nippletop for 15 minutes contemplating my decision next. My feet were drenched and freezing and almost numb. Thank God it was about 60 on nippletop no wind. I wrapped my feet in my coat and sat and really was going to head back to lake rd I didn't think I could do the small elevations in between dial, bear den and Noonmark shoulder. I decided to move forward to Dial--i just finished my water with Nuun and started feeling better. Then in between nippletop and dial I felt completely weak. I fell to the ground and forgot I had more nutrition in the back of my vest!! Seriously this was a lifesaver I was nervous. I sat there for another 10 minutes to wait til my body could digest it a little--im.back in the game. I hit 6-8 min miles off of the shoulder then jogged it back on the lake road to the sign in. FKT is sign in to sign in. Originally 5:27 I got 5:18 I think I dunno lol I'm done
