Great day to be with Ben and to get in this FKT. I met Ben at the end of this route then we drove up together to the start to begin our journey. Ben wrote all the splits on his arm to ensure we were keeping pace at various checkpoints. Four Birds is quite technical, filled with rock gardens and rolling hills so our mile pace does not appear fast lol. Tough course to keep the heart rate seriously elevated. We really fought hard together here and finished with an FKT by about 8 minutes. The last few miles were real tough and our tank was dwindling. 

1000 ml of water and banana, were consumed whereas the cliff bar and gel were deadweight the whole time. I also carried my phone and car key in my vest. 11/10 day. Great Run Ben 🤙🤙
