Dropped a bottle early on while on the front through some wild sand downhill sections. I got off, ran abck, and tried to find it. Cole went to the front and was drilling it after that, but eventually I bridged back up. I didn’t feel great from mile 65-85 but started to feel good after that and twist the screws a bit. At mile 95 we hit a nasty UTV trail that was rutted out and wild. I was 2nd wheel and followed the first guy around a massive puddle, but got a stick jammed in my rear wheel and frame which brought me to an immediate stop. Pretty sure Cole went to the front there and hit it hard. I went from 2nd wheel to last (5th) in the lead group and bridged back up to 3rd but wasn’t able to catch back up. 3rd in the end. What a wild, challenging, and fun day out !
