Weather fantastic: sunny, no wind, roads perfectly dry so great to be out on the bike. A lot of corners, undulations and some traffic to contend with, so a bit difficult to find my 'flow', but the A590 gave an opportunity for some aero action. The short climb up The Causeway was tough with gearing better suited to flat TTs. Nevertheless, smashed it around as fast as I could and was the first to arrive in T2. Official time 1:10:17, 4th fastest bike split*.

*A few fast finishers w/o bike splits so maybe 5/6th.
