August’s first ski!

I have a habit lately of starting way too fast 😂 I think I’m just so excited to run after a 2020 of boredom! But fairly sure I red lined, so the 2nd half of the climb was a sufferfest. Don’t be like me, pace yourself 😂 had loads of fun though, especially on the fast descent! Would also not recommend doing this on the busiest long weekend of the year. On my way down there was a man eating his lunch in the middle of the lake section, where the trail is literally only two logs going through the water. I couldn’t get around him without swimming, and he couldn’t move aside to let me pass without swimming. So that was fun 😒.

Also, I swear I am cursed with technology lately! Why my GPS seems to have stopped before the finish, I'm not sure. I ran all the way down the road back to the car with my watched locked and still running? Gahhh.
