Didn’t have very high expectations for this because of how I felt on the warm up as well as a long break because my stomach was acting up. I decided to do this route because I ran it last September and remembered it being slow but a good grind. That tempo in December I felt that I was in good shape and ran 5:53 for 5. This improvement was really nice to see as well as getting in a solid effort without feeling as if I went into the well. I think I’m going to continue to do my workout on the dirt and hills because I feel a bit more relaxed not worrying about pace and having high expectations.
